The S.S. Badger is the largest car ferry ever to sail Lake Michigan. She has transported over 2.5 million passengers since her re-birth in 1992.

Making lasting memories with family and friends

The Badger is the continuation of a vital maritime tradition which we celebrate in ways that both educate and entertain our passengers.

The Badger's historic maiden voyage in 1953

Her mission of carrying railroad cars 365 days a year has changed, but her role in the economies and hearts of the areas she serves has not.
